Not condoning his actions of screwing his friend's wife and subsequently her life, don't think the terrible consequences were intended. The woman should have put a stop to it whilst the bets were going on in the first place. She is not 'emotionally robust and independent' and also naive to expect " gentleman treatment" from the 2 guys.

The main culprit here are fat29's friend "Shawn" who instigated the bet in the first place and the husband who could not accept a 'damaged wife'. I don't think a newly married woman wants to be the 'village bicycle' to anybody willing to pay and have a ride. She was 'badly damaged' by Fat29, Shawn, and the 2 Japs. The husband got pissed off with her and her life spiral downwards into pain, anguish and disaster.
