I am puzzled with how wechat works. Does it means that if someone check your no in the database, everyone will know that there is a check on you?

it depends. but once yr number is in whatever database, a lot of OKT sometimes start to SMS u about their new websites.. i m sure many have experienced it.. thats why most recommend to use a different number than your regular number..
