Split this forum: One for FLs and one for OKT-offers?

I have the feeling that it's really time to split this forum into a part that's for OKTs and their offers, and a part that's for real freelancers (FLs). It's very hard to get good discussions and FRs going about FLs when OKTs are pushing their own girls up in the discussion threads all the time. This way, the threads about genuine FLs hardly have any chance to exist anymore.

Ah well, this is just my $0.02, but who's with me?

yeah and make it easier for AV to clamp down on OKTs?....I dun support nor am I against OKTs pushing their gals...we can choose to ignore their post if it bothers on annoyance but to split may mean more administrative works for the boss and his staff as then they have to constantly review most if not all the post to ensure the right post goes to the right thread..also as I had mentioned earlier, doing so would also mean that AV will only have a easier time in compiling up who are the OKTs not that they may not have known by now...but must make this useless ass works for their money...wat are taxpayer money for?

It always hard to judge a fr if it is posted by a okt as they tend to be one sided so i also would like a split just my thoughts

I don't think that's true. With quite some OKTs very obviously profiling themselves with Yahoo groups and stuff, it's absolutely not difficult for AV to zoom into these guys. Also from the offers in this forum, it's most of the times quite obvious when they're OKTs and when they're not. They're more often than not also very open with this regards, using sentences like: "I have a new batch of girls coming in" etc. The challenge for OKTs is to stay anonymous, obviously not to conseal their business...

Unless you think that AV is really stupid and doesn't understand these kinda things, I think it's just a good thing to split this forum. What you started with is also very true you see: if you want an OKT and want to choose one: go to forum A. If you want a freelancer, go to forum B.

Actually most of the OKTs do not interfere within others existing thread...they normally start a new thread to push their gals...either we can choose to ignore it or read on..so I really dun think there is much harm done...

Disclaimer: I am no OKT and so far (so far huh) have yet to engage the services of any OKTs except maybe once only for SK which was already a few years back..

It's just that I found that they keep on pushing their threads up, which makes threads about genuine FLs quite invisible and less active. At the same time, girls from OKTs are technically not even FLs...

I wrote about this a while ago and totally agree that this is very frustrating. It becomes worst when somehow, the FL suddenly goes under a particular OKT or when different OKT pushes for the same girl with different names and price etc..

Unless the Boss does something, our hands are tied. For now, I rely on the rep points for discernment. Anyone who post FR but only has a rep point below 16 is ignored. Still, that is not fool-proof but it's better to be vaguely right and precisely wrong.

Yes boss I agree in splitting the forum like a subfolder for OKT corner, is getting too much that OKT is infesting the sharing forum

This I think is the problem....if independent FLs can be in one section and "organised " FLs in another ( since they can't be included in GL the legal scene), it will facilitate viewing. As it is, the FL section has the second highest volume of hits. No one is arguing that OKTs should be excluded as they do provide a needed service. It is up to samsters to decide if they want to use them....

I am all for splitting. It is much easier for bros to filter between the FL and the OKT gals. It may also help OKTs to get more business since they are more "concentrated" in a single forum. The bros can regulate the OKTs' services by posting reviews. The forum may also generate some revenue through the OKTs. So the way I see it is win-win-win.
