Dear Handsome,

This is very difficult question - it all depends on individual. The average cost of medication with treatment can be really expensive - with countless blood tests, medical examination, and intensive care in hospital when hiv escalates into AIDS.

There is NO CURE. You will live with the HIV infection forever! Treatment is also for life time.

If you need to have someone tot alk to you soon, pls email us at [email protected]

Best wishes

Lightbulb My Hope to "ALL"

I can give you a 101% definitely answer. So long they (+HIV) have the money for treatment, they can be confirmed won't die so early. Trust me! No need to go through the hassle of treatment in local government hospital if you have the money! Only those without money for treatment, they have to turn to government hospital for subsidy treatment and therefore straight away kenna blacklisted by MOH!

Share with you something. Do you know the chairman of local AIDS society is infected with AIDS? I can tell you that he is super rich and every month he goes to Thailand (Singapore do not have) for injection. That injection is very costly (>S$2.5K) and must be injected frequently (once in a month). He kenna AIDS long long time ago but he still survived and "cheong" gay discos alot!

Well, I have personally seen lots of rich (+HIV) people (used to be my business associates) going to Thailand for that costly injection. Yet not many people knew. Once kenna AIDS, don't worry. Money will solve lots of problem.

If one month you earn S$10K, you will still be living happy after.

If you're talking about HIV, there's still some hope for you to live a normal life without your HIV turning to full blown AIDS.

Expensive or not depends on how valuable is your life. If your ilfe is worthless, $10 is also expensive. If you're a multi millionaire, $10K a month is nothing.

Anyway, for the first few months, you will need about $1K until your HIV counts becomes "zero" or HIV(-). Normally, it takes about 3 to 6 months. Some as fast as one month. Thereafter you reduce it gradually, and may need about $300 per month to maintain.

Although some people did stop when they become negative, don't know whether it will come back again or not.

No, I'm not talking about the injections. PM me if you are serious and not only asking for information.

Re: what is the treatment like if found positive?

By the way, I personally did a test on 16 HIV/AIDS victims from a village in Thailand. Half took it, the other half didn't. The count went down after the first month. Continued for second month, and the count went down even further.

Unfortunately, the company didn't want to continue providing it free and these people got no money to buy. So stop test. Didn't follow up on the results thereafter.

Cheers

HIV or AIDS is not just a disease where money can be used to help alleviate the pain, or even cure. It is not just only a “physical disease”, but also a more “emotional affliction”. Many people are stigmatized and prejudiced against HIV / AIDS patients, and it can even apply to the patient’s family members or friends or colleagues.

It’s dangerous to say that money can solve all problems. Yes, money can help in many matters, like looking for the best doctors and treatment. But it can NEVER buy back your health, remove the irrational fears that people have against the disease and resolve prejudice. Always do it safe, if you must play.

Unhappy Treatment....

Well, for one, you'd be taking a lot of pills. Secondly, you can expect to live with a chronic condition for at most 20 years before full-blown AIDS sets in. Theoretically, we think a tiny tiny minority could live for 25 years or more. But currently, the cut-off appears to be 20 years. And these folks aren't the majority. Majority is about 12 ~ 15 years before succumbing to full-blown AIDS.

At year 20, resistance to the medicine sets in. Thus, nothing to treat you with. It can be far shorter and depends on your adherance or your ability to adhere to a strict regiment of medication. It also depends on your existing bad habits that put stresses on your immune system. Do you eat well etc., Naturally, teatment costs a lot of $$. Thus, having $$ definately will leave you with options that will prolonged your life.

The other complication is that if you are infected with a particular strain of the virus that comes already resistant to the various medications, then you are doubly-screwed. Consequently, the logic of hey, I am HIV+ so that gives me a free license to screw another HIV+ person is counter-productive. It could end up complicating your situation and shortening your already limited life-span.

As for the effects of full blown AIDs, aside from pimple-like sores breaking out all over your body, you also suffer from chronic diarrhea, you definately lose weight and feel extremely tired. Next, you might suffer from open sores that just won't heal. Not to mention a variety fungal infections that never goes away. Finally, you could also suffer from dementia (lose your mind).

In short, not a pretty sight. And really, a bad bad way to exit. I mean, we must all exit sometime but I prefer my exit to be a bit more dignified. And certainly less painful.

Re: what is the treatment like if found positive?

Ripped from http://www.hivaidssearch.com/facts/h...ns_answers.htm

"95% of patients with HIV will gradually progress to AIDS (the terminal stage of HIV infection). This process may take anything between three to twelve years depending on the individual. However, there is a small group of about 1 - 2% of HIV positive patients who do not appear to progress/or progress very slowly (long term non-progresses) and they appear to sometimes remain asymptomatic for more than 15 years. However, if one were to follow them up long enough they may one day still land up with AIDS."

Re: what is the treatment like if found positive?

Q. Why do some people progress rapidly to AIDS while others take a long time?
A. There are two main factors for this. Firstly each individual responds differently to the virus and the immune response mounted against the virus after infection varies a great deal. Some people can suppress the virus much better than others and therefore, they intend to progress much slower. However, they are still HIV+ and they can still transmit the virus. Secondly, the viral strains may also be one that is less pathogenic and therefore does not destroy the immune system as rapidly.

Re: what is the treatment like if found positive?

Well to sum it up, there is actually an alternative here in Singapore. These are immune response molecules or Immune IQ. They can dramatically feed the information to your NK (Natural Killer ) Cells and make them smart. NK Cell activity has been known to rise as much as 437%.

Positive results have been conducted on HIV Positive patients. A typical specimen was taken with a virus count of around 40,000. After a 2month study on these miracle molecules, his present virus count stands at 4,000.
36,000 have been destroyed by your own defense mechanism. In fact in Russia, all hospitals have switched to this treatment as the the main course of treatment for HIV and Cancer. It has also produced more than 35,000 clinical reports on it.

So brothers, it does not increase your immune system. It makes it smart and intelligent, cos to increase it on an auto-immune disease, you are asking for trouble. Any brothers need help on this, dont hesitate to call me. Its the cheapest treatment around.

Cheers

AIDS, which stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome and is caused by HIV. The names HIV and AIDS can be confusing because both terms describe the same disease. Think of AIDS as advanced HIV disease. A person with AIDS has an immune system so weakened by HIV that the person usually becomes sick from one of several opportunistic infections or cancers such as PCP (a type of pneumonia) or KS (Kaposi sarcoma), wasting syndrome (involuntary weight loss), memory impairment, or tuberculosis. If someone with HIV is diagnosed with one of these opportunistic infections (even if the CD4 count is above 200), he or she is said to have AIDS. AIDS usually takes time to develop from the time a person acquires HIV -- usually between 2 to 10 years or more.

Nowadays, it's quite norm for local HIV-infected victims heading to thailand for cheap alternatives cocktails of drugs, can costly about 75% cheaper as compared to treament in SIN.
