Social Media Evil Brainwashing

I do have a poor relationship with my wife that i am struggling to fix. It seems that social media has picked up that she likes to watch toxic videos like from this guy...

and then keep recomending more such videos to her....

Is there anyway i can somewhat shut them down or influence her social media to stop giving such recommendations? like any settings?.. (i do have ocassional access to her phone for short periods of time)

too much media = brain rot
not just social media, traditional media as well.
She is just living in a illusional world of her own.

Do you have control of her social media account? If you do, you can apply filters, block some content / content creators, reset her content preferences, etc. Else, no hope.
But remember, censorship (just like the government wanna censor porn / this website from internet) is only a short term solution. She can easily find new similar content or even alternate sources to watch again.

Quick thought is to clear her viewing history so that the algorithm will recommend other random stuff to her instead of this guy.

Kind of hard to deal with brain rot and the algorithm spamming people that don't know how to filter reality and fiction. Maybe start with smaller things like pointing out fake news or clearly bad content (that she will agree is also bad) and try to reinforce the idea of filtering things you see online bit by bit?

Tell her too much social media is bad. Since they use algorithm if she watch toxic videos the algo will feed her those. Best to read books and just enjoy the real life
