Anyone subscribed to Rapidshare or Hotfile??

Did anyone ever signed up for Rapidshare or Hotfile file transferring website? I'm thinking of signing up but they require too much details, like address. Hence, i abit hesitated if i should provide so much information about myself.

So, any advise from the samster here???

If you have the money, there are people who will do the necessary sign up and then send you the lock in details.

I have a friend who can do these if you like.
i remember a month of rapid is 10+ dollars and 3 months like 30+ something.


anyway these days i find the release rate so slow i didn't see the point of RS anymore. i switched to BT.

am assuming you wanna use rapidshare to download pRon...

I have been using rapidshare for about 1yr plus.. initially did a 3 month contract, then kept extending it. its no problem giving them your details.. so far ok...

Actually I find it very good and reliable. The trick to getting fast downloads is that you have to use downloadaccelerator pro ( only a paid rapidshare account will allow you to use it.. and you have to go configure the download accelerator, but its quite easy.. ) and it'll be super fast when you use starhub or singnet ADSL. I've can regularly download a 700mb file in approx 15 mins at all times of the day!!! Without downloadaccelerator its probably 10x slower..

I'm using RS also, but using it in malaysia. The speed is quite decent but i have to chose a specific servers, but changes from time to time. What is the dowload rate for you bro?

yeah, i too subscribe to RS, totally didn't regret it!
A lot of stuffs are available on RS including porn.

I use RS as well.

Initially, only have a 1 month subscription. Then I also find that I keep extending it, hence, get a 1 year subscription instead.

Regarding the slow speed, I'm using FlashGet with it, hence it's acceptable to me. With FlashGet, not only your download your stuff faster, you can also queue it so that you can go to sleep and have your stuff downloaded the next morning.

I too have been using RS for about 2 years.. with a download accelerator (I use flashget), its fast and easy. Recently also got a 1 year Hotfile account for quite a low rate. But still prefer RS.
