I'm glad that I am not the one who first post this topic! Me being from Hong Kong and all!
But what you say is quite true and is actually something which we guys from Hong Kong have been quite concerned about. The first regular customers in CP were our cross border truck drivers - who in the old days prior to the opening up of the Huanggang border 24 hours a day, were forced to stay overnight in CP. These guys were the real pioneers and insisted (Like all bloody hard nosed Hong Konger's) on REAL value for money, no nonsense from the girls (get what you pay for) and really give it to the managers/mommies etc when they don't deliver the goods, so to call.
For the longest time, this was the case - reinforced by our bros from Taiwan who are equally fastidious in their demands. Then...... came the era of International Sex Guide, sex141, SBF, Mamak etc AND then came all the agents offering to hold the hands of newbies to CP, starting from say 6 years or so ago (IMHO), and of course, there follows all the foreigners from all over the place.
I can NOT actually blame you overseas visitors for doing what you do - in that you HAVE come across great distances, spend a lot of money for air fares etc on your less than frequent visit to this Men's Paradise; of course you guys want to make the BEST use of your time and get the most enjoyment etc - the cost be damned as its so little compared to what you've already spent coming over.
But what I would like for you to please consider is to possibly tone it down a bit AND more importantly, do NOT allow these CP sharks to keep on fleecing you guys!! Please don't kill me - but this is straight from my heart and is in the hearts of a lot of my Hong Kong Bros who are really bugged at how things has gotten so far out of whack with such great numbers of you overseas visitors.
I ask for your forbearance and charitable mind in this matter....for in the end, all of us, including you guys will also suffer from this ridiculous inflationary spiral ACCOMPANIED BY AN EVER WORSENING SERVICE ATTITUDE.
And the fact of the matter is that there is VERY FEW places left in China where one can still enjoy all that CP has to offer.... all these nubile porcelain skinned beauties! Please try to understand and do your best to help us all.
