Since I'm retired and with all the hype over the recent LX saga, allow me share, based on my very own limited exposure to HFJ, what I've learnt and discovered. If any bros feel at any part what i said is invalid, please do not hesitate to comment and share.

Large Joints
Singers are under extreme pressure the minute they land. They are briefed on their monthly targets etc etc
Singers from such joint are ABSOLUTELY unable to survive based on just earning 散花 alone, thus the day they start work, they're on the prowl for a 支持者. So, if you're someone who's well known in the HFJ scene for your power or lack of power, this is the area you can capitalise on for a quicky or fail miserably! They will not hesitate to be your woman for they know their rice bowl is secure.

Medium Joints

This is a median between the high & lower end joints, there's a very healthy mix of clientele and thus, flowers are actually quite healthy. The power hang more than the basic avg whereas the normal cover the entry level flowers. Surprisingly, flowers from such joints can actually outbeat those of a high end joint for they are patronised by all kinds of hangers, from the entry level to the power hangers. Getting into the skirt of a singer from such joints, one has to be ready for alot of distractions from other customers and thus, it is very common for singers from such joints to have more than 1老公. Several singers that are doing so well at such joints are pretty amazing actually, earning good healthy income! So, if you wanna have sole proprietorship, be ready for a nightmare once the truth is unveiled! Again, there are some that's a 1 man woman, but hey, they're here to make money!

Small Joints
Amazingly, such joints are a very interesting place to observe and learn. The culture is very much different from the other 2 kinds of joints mentioned above.
Singers basically have a healthy stream of budget clientele thus entertainment, having drinks, the occasional supper and dinner is more than suffice to fulfill the deed they're willing to do for you. Getting into the skirt is almost based on pure gamble and KCing, which some may say its challenging but to others, it's too troublesome, no diff from going to the casino. If you start bombing them, they will instead start to worry cos they knows your intention and is worried what happens once you dun wan them?

Short comparo but very different cultures where the main aim for both parties, the client & singers is pussy and money!
So if you think you're a power hanger, dun be surprised you cant even get pussy in a small joint although you can bomb the daylights outta them. For small hangers to go big joints and hang 100-200 bucks, dun expect much either, the singers will prolly come shake your hand, have a drink and go back to the singers room for a smoke and their TCSS session!
