I ended up staying in Luohu. Managed to contact an old acquaintance to accompany for the two nights, so didn't go explore the spa scenes. I was told there still are, but mostly in the outskirts and smaller establishments. And now they don't just have 92, 95 and 98. They also have 94 and 96. Don't know what are they, didn't bother to find out more.
Maybe next trip then try.
