Apart from massage shops, moneychangers & cewek joints, places selling local SIM cards are the next most plentiful in Batam.

If u're coming in via Harborbay, there are several shops around that area. Otherwise, there are literally hundreds of shops selling SIM cards within the Nagoya area.
