I was speechless when he told me that.
Btw, Google Maps says that from Nagoya Hill to Sekupang the driving time is 21 mins (15 mins without traffic). I think Google never drove around Batam.
However, I would have not believed that, if I did not see the bicycle parked there.
My assumption was that he took a ferry to Sekupang and once there he looked around for some accommodation.
