Did a google search on LTBI and gotten some simple information from different countries' health ministry website.

LTBI is not infectious, TB will become infectious when it become active.
So if the girl has LTBI, there is treatment for it (from the information on those websites, they did not really state if can be completely cured, best to check with the doctor).

IMO the risk is you may not know when the TB will become active and is infectious.
There are symptoms when TB is active though.

Ultimately best to consult a doctor.
