I have not being to Yangon for about ayear.So can any Bro here up date about yangon(I know there is some Bro here would like to know about this place)THANK YOU.:)

Yangon? That place is the pits! The natives are ugly the night life there is as dead as democracy. Food sucks and even the best hotel (Kandawgyi Palace) there has roaches! The only time I had a really nice day was the day I left!

I work there for 3 1/2 year(1997-2001).As I see,you stay at Kandawyi Palace, it a old hotel with wooden & beside the Kandawyi lake(good veiw from there)As for night life,it not dead,it at YUZANA or DOWNTOWN(new RMB orEQUATOR HOTEL etc).Next time try to stay at singapore TRADER or SENDONA HOTEL(all 5 star)

Basically nothing much change. Basement of Asia Plaza hotel, park royal hotel, and chinatown

How you must have suffered. Personally I never did got used to the food. I used to have to fly up there once in a while for work too. Thank God for the internet and laptops!

O.K. About food,you can go to singapore open shop.Ask some singapore friend about S.A.M. and you will have lot of lobang.Best place to eat is the buffet at 5 star hotel(only U/S 8-U/S 12).I enjoy my stay there cause I have many friend"s and hobby(go disco all night).Asain light hotel basement not good cause girl not sweet,try EQUATOR basement DISCO(D.J. is a singaporean).I hope to work there if have lobang.Going this DEC to see my friend"s.:)

When you are at DISCO,you can book any girl you like(only $30per night unliter).
Just ask the BOY to call the girl you like and you can go back to have FUN.:)

There really aren't many post on Yangon. Anyway, I will be there somewhere in August, anyone bros will be there too? Appreciate if bros here can give more details on this city, eg where to cheong and the damage.

For good reason my friend. The place is the pits! Better bring lots of reading material and make sure your laptop batteries are fully charged. Good luck.

might be there end august or early sept, will just stay at Asia Plaza hotel... easy.. just go basement.. the gal might not be that great.... but convenience

Me likely to go on 1st week Aug, happens to meet a friend that so call know the place and will go together with him.......
