Apartment in Bangkok...???

Hi Bross...

S many here knw, most of the girls in bkk lives in rented apartments, especially Rachatda area. My question is,

If u hav a thai girlfriend in bkk, n she is living in tis type of aprtmnt now, wil u rent a better 1 4 her 2 stay? So tat the nxt visit 2 bkk, u can save on htl n stay wif her?

The average rental they r paying is abt 3000 to 4000 baht excluding electricity n water. Lets say a better 1 costing abt 6000 baht, nicely done up, better than tis 3k 4k 1s.

Let me know how u guys think, thx....

My gal is staying in that area for a $3k rental per month excluding utilities.

Room wise is still decent.

My ex gf stayed in Ekkamai area with rental of $5k.

To me, a studio apartment is still a one room apartment. Unless it's condonimum then it's a different story. My friend also stayed in a condo with rental of $10 near carrefour area.

However, room wise it doesn't make much difference to me whether is it 3k, 5k or 10k.

Think the gals are used to living and will prefer cash anytime....:(

Anyone considering buying one instead? :p

Sukhumvit? no thanks, things in surrounding / vicinity is relatively more expensive. Actually, got some samsters staying in tat area, now they kinda regret cos everything oso expensive, ie, traditional massage, restaurants, shopping, etc, some more bad traffic. But then, juz like me, we know nuts about Bangkok when we initially arrived. Only thing I tell myself is, avoid the area where many ang mohs are. Sure damn expensive one! My instincts paid off.

Got new condo selling in Huay Khwang area, some of my friends bought oredi. Only about 1.5 mil THB for 1 unit. I'm more interested in condos along Rachada stretch.

now buy house in bangkok, very bo hua. The goverment is quite strict againest foreigners getting property in thailand. But if we put the house under the girl's name, we scared she do funny things.
Now got 10% tax for foreign investors , i think.

Ekkamai area so ex? 5k?

as far as I was informed, foreigners can buy condo/apartments. Just can't buy/own land directly, so cant buy/own landed property.

The condo/apartment, or high rise property, resides on tat plot of land, of which u almost, if not totally, do not have any rights regarding tat plot of land.
