whatever conditions, be careful sharing mobile numbers, as can link up to your email, facebook, etc. people can hack to accounts.

Hi bro,

Just some sharing. I got to know from one ML that the reason for them to ask for our handphone number is for them to check with their pimps/boss on whether the numbers are being "blacklisted" as they are used by cops or undercover. Once they verify you are one of the cheongster, they will proceed to close the deal with you by providing details. If the number is suspicious, they will stop replying you.

However, this is just what the ML says and it's up to other bros here to verify.

First of all, don't need to create so many threads for the same topic.

Second, yes it is true that the mobile number is used to cross check with a database to see if a number is black listed.

Have seen it first hand. A FL receives a new booking from a new number, she copied and pasted the number to a website. Then they just tap check for the website to run and detect if the number is "safe".

Different FLs then categorise the numbers differently. I have seen an FL scrolling through her phone with a very long list of contact names. The list only has names "1" and "0". 1 are those contacts which are proven ok, 0 are those which are not safe.
