Why is being a slut bad?
 

Inspired by a forum post I read. but now I'm curious about what other people think. What are the disadvantages to being a slut, besides, of course, being known as a slut? Why do people look so disapprovingly on girls who sleep around but for us guys it's ok?
Isn't it double standards?

The way I see it, as long as these so-called "sluts" aren't hurting anyone, they're just enjoying themselves, and also bringing joy to whoever their sexual partner is. As long as they're not breaking any commitments, and not hurting anyone, there's no problem. A person who is considered a "slut", could also be viewed as a woman who is simply enjoying her sexuality and is in control of her body, as well as having a lot more fun than the people who are calling her a slut. No, I am not and do not plan on being a slut, I'm just interested in other peoples' opinions.

Shouldn't we who peruse this forum be more encouraging for females in SG to open up and be more in tune with their slutty sides?

It is double standard for society. Ok for guys to fool around, but gals who fuck around = sluts but true. And many guys want to fuck around, but when it comes to settling down for a long term commitment, they want a decent gal to be their wives. I am not saying all, but many Yes. Just fuck and go.

It is society perception. Unfair but true. Most guys want to fck around but when it comes to a wife, they want a decent one. So, so called sluts lose out the most, they get fcked but end up cannot find someone to settle down with.

Becos it is supposed to be difficult to get a woman into bed as most only do so with the man they love. A woman who easily sleeps with anyone would then be deemed to not treasure her body. I know this is the traditional view. Pardon me.

This double standards is not new. Most young girls already know it, and I'm sure almost all adult women already long knew it. If any woman is considered a "slut", I think she would probably not want people to know about it.

But in actual fact, I never use these term on any girl before becos I feel this is their rights on control their own actions.

'sluts' are simply women who enjoy sexuality and don't mind being intimate with many people and bring happiness to them. 'Slut-shaming' culture is a bad practice originated from a masochist-patriarchal-religious society which is outdated.

I fully agree with you.. when a girl willing to have sex with u, that means they trusted you..that is also the reason I never exchange contacts...

Frm expereience best dun xchange contacts.. the men will pass ur contacts around n think tu will screw with any tom dick n harry.
