where to get fresh/dry tongkat ali root?
 

Hello all, does anyone knows where to buy fresh/dry tongkat ali root in singapoore? I knw there is off the shelf tongkat ali extract available, but i just want to get some fresh/dry root.

If you guys are really serious about getting hold of the tongkat ali root, i can
do it for you, as i travel back and forth to Malaysia.

I will only be able to do this when i visit my MIL further up in Segamat once a
week though.

Do note the root is big, its about 1 m - 1.5 m long, price is roughly around
RM100 - RM130 per root.

I think the difference might be the purity, because one is refined, while the
other is not.

You can get them at the malay shops above Beach Road hawker centre.

Used to have a huge tngkat ali root weighing 2 kgs, but gave it away.

It is damn bitter to drink when infused.

I am not trying to be an expert on Eurycoma Longifolia aka Tongkat Ali here but I know a thing or 2 with this root.

Frankly I see no need to want a whole root cos it's not so simple as boiling a chunk of the root even after chopping THE BIG ROOT into pieces. Don't waste the whole root this way. It doesn't work like this. You need to slice the root, and put some slices into a clay pot to boil using 2 bowl of water into 1 bowl with slow fire. My uncle gave me a fresh big bag of the sliced roots recently, I find it too troublesome cos of the boiling, and I kept it for a while before out it went into the bin....

Alternatively, you can get those off the shelf capsule type like those from traditional malay jamu shops - made in Malaysia or Indonesia (but these are never pure type and are often mixed with other herbs like Silax Mycsofiflora and etc ). IMHO, Beiklin Tongkat Ali Extract is good enough, the secret is when and how to take it before your sexxion.

Do not abuse any tonic or herbs, thinking the more is merrier cos each individual body reaction is different. Take care of your liver and don't let it over worked.

Another thing is the boiled TongKat Ali (though is only a small bowl) is Extreme Bitter. Let it cool off and drink it at 1-mouthful QUICKLY without any hesitation :D Need to standby some sweet so that the taste buds would feel better and I guess think of the sweetness of sex be good also cos really damn bitter. :D

Think about it, dont have the time to brew the "tongkat ali" and also not so convenient. I have tried beiklin Tongkat ali before, and have fairly ok result. Probably i will stick to that.

Actually you don't have to brew it yourself, like for where i am getting the
raw tongkat ali for some guys, they will brew it for you as well if you want
and hand you the liquid in a bottle, i remember they charge around
RM10 (S$4) extra just to brew it for you, this way the entire hassle of
brewing is not there.

Yes, true its bitter, but what i usually do is i pour the liquid in a glass and
stir some honey in it, the bitterness will not be so bad once honey is added :)
