One year on since I posted this thread. Time for an update.

Since we last met 1 year ago when I went to China to look her up, the travel restrictions due to COVID have not improved at all.

It has been more than 365days of video-calling, we never stopped communicating every day, letting me know what's going on in her life and how she has switched jobs, new friends and virtually giving me constant updates including her daily meals. We vid-call whenever its convenient for me.

Its amazing, how we are maintaining this relationship.
